There is only one difference between a long life and a good dinner: that, in the dinner, the sweets come last.
Robert Louis StevensonHello, my name is Cecil Fuselier. I am not as interested in your seeing what I did, as I am in your seeing what I see! I became interested in photography in 1980. I bought my first 35mm Pentax in the mid-80s and immediately realized that it had ignited a passion in me. I never tired of going out and shooting. Then 4 weeks before Christmas in 1986, all my equipment vanished. I was so discouraged; I gave up on even wanting to start all over.
In 2005, I realized that the passion for photography was still lurking in my soul, and I decided to re-enter the world of photography. I bought a Sony Mavica digital and have worked my way to currently shooting with my Canon 20D, 5D, and Canon 5D Mark II.
When not working at my regular job or taking care of personal business, I am out looking for the beauty that I want to capture. I love sports photography, composition photography of old abandoned structures, some indoor still life, and anything that stirs something in my soul and moves me to want to stop it in time.
I enjoy taking my images and creating photographic art, so much so that most of my home and office decorations are images that I have captured and transformed into creations that I am quite proud to display.
